Umrah
Before
Make the intention for Umrah before passing the Miqat and begin the Talbiyah.
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ
Labbayka llāhumma labbayk, labbayka lā sharīka laka labbayk, inna l-ḥamda wa n-ni'mata laka wa l-mulk, lā sharīka lak
Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. All praise, grace and sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner.
During
Circle the Kaaba seven times starting from the Black Stone. No specific supplication is fixed for each circuit in the Sunnah; make dhikr and dua freely. Between the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone the Prophet ﷺ recited:
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbanā ātinā fi d-dunyā ḥasanatan wa fi l-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa qinā 'adhāba n-nār
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
During
Seven lengths beginning at Safa. On approaching Safa for the first time, the Prophet ﷺ recited:
إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ
Inna ṣ-ṣafā wa l-marwata min sha'ā'iri llāh
Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah.
After
Men shave or shorten the hair; women trim a fingertip's length. Your Umrah is complete.
